Tikva has been finally arrested and is being held for interrogation. In this scene we have the juxtaposition of happier music of the period playing amidst extreme violence that is being inflicted in the interrogation room. The interrogator delights in the opportunity of using the music played by, seemingly oblivious neighbours, to perform his assault against Tikva as if in a twisted dance. In the scene the interrogator assaults Tikva, who is hanging from a double bungie cord and is flung all over the stage. By the end of the scene, the interrogator discovers where Tikva had been hiding her colleagues from the orchestra and they are all killed.
